Scott Tufts is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, a Board Certified Tax Lawyer with the Florida Bar, with a Masters of Law degree in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law.

Mr. Tufts also received his J.D. degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law and his accounting degree from Florida State University.

With approximately 12 years of practice serving as a principal shareholder at two large law firms, Mr. Tufts has worked on a wide range of tax issues, including international, federal and state tax issues, tax-exempt organization issues (including formations, applications for exemption, and intermediate sanctions analysis), corporate governance, entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, family business planning, IRS estate tax audits, accountant malpractice claims, breach of fiduciary claims, partnership tax disputes, TEFRA settlements, innocent spouse claims, offers in compromise, federal tax lien releases, and applications for private letter rulings.
